Since moving to Minnesota, we have had to adjust to a one-car garage … that is not attached to our house.
To many, this would seem small, but since having a dog and being married, I have had the luxury of an attached two-plus car garage.
I don’t even care about parking my car in the garage, but it was very practical when putting Wrigley to bed.
- Walk out the door from the inside of the house to the garage.
- Walk to door that goes outside.
- Open door.
- Let dog in.
- Close door.
- Walk back to door to inside of house.
- And voila! Wrigley has been put to bed.
Life is not a simple as it used to be in the good ‘ol days of attached garages.
Which means someone had to come up with a solution as to how to get Wrigley sheltered at night time or in the instance that it rains (or snows … as I hear it does frequently here!).
Cue my genius husband.
Please enjoy this 20-second video, filmed by the man himself.
This is not a permanent solution, but for now … I think it will work! 🙂
